FOR CHILDREN
Baby Storytime
Saturday, April 4, 10:15 am – 10:45 am
Join us for a fun bonding experience with your baby through rhymes, fingerplays, and books! Attendance is limited, registration required. For babies up to 18 months, with their parent or caregiver.

Noteworthy Puppets: Sherlock Homerun
Tuesday, April 7,  2:00 pm - 2:45 pm
Someone has stolen "The Baseball Diamond"​ and it's up to Sherlock to solve the mystery!  Featuring songs and handmade puppets, young audiences will love this hilarious, interactive adventure with Sherlock and Watson! For ages 5 – 12 with a caregiver.

Smarty Pants Storytime
Thursday, April 9, 10:15 am– 10:45 am
Let’s get ready for school! Enjoy books, songs, rhymes, and movement while learning school readiness skills and having fun. Attendance is limited, registration required. For ages 2 - 5 with their parent or caregiver.

Baby Band
Saturday, April 11, 10:15 am– 10:45 am
Music helps your baby’s brain make more learning connections, build fine and gross motor skills, and teach social skills. Come play with us! For ages 0-24 months and caregivers.

New Parent Engagement: Learn About Library Programs & Services
Tuesday, April 14,  5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

New parents, join us at a special program designed for you. Bring your new baby and learn about all the great programs and services we have for parents, caregivers, and children, and connect with other new parents/families in the community.

Create and Celebrate: Earth Day
Wednesday, April 22, 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Join us at the library for an afternoon of art activities in celebration of Earth Day! Learn about ways we can help the planet, while making a flying butterfly paper craft and painting your own rock. For ages 5 - 12 with a parent or caregiver.

Celebrate Dia: Crafts and Stories
Wednesday, April 29, 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Join us for El día de los niños/El día de los libros, as we celebrate children and families around the world with an hour of creative time and stories. For ages 5 – 12 with parent or caregiver.

Board Game Hour
Friday, April 3 and April 24,  2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Game on! Challenge your friends at classic board games. A variety of games are available to play, from Uno to Chess. For ages 11 – 14

Teen Craft: Flower Smash Art
Friday, April 10, 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Learn the unique art of "flower pounding," a technique that uses a hammer and natural pigments from flowers to create colorful, abstract designs. This eco-friendly process is a fun way to craft something fun and beautiful. For ages 12 - 17

Book Club

Join our monthly book club for an engaging discussion of our latest selection, The Book Club for Troublesome Women by Marie Bostwick. For adults.

Try it Out! Mini Ikebana
Saturday, April 11, 2:00pm - 3:00 pm
Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arranging. Learn how to create your own small Ikebana flower display to take home and enjoy!  Flowers will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own bowl or vase. For adults.

MakMo: Regrow Your Groceries
Saturday, April 11, 2:00pm - 3:00 pm
Do you want to save money and help out the planet? Join us and learn how to regrow plant scraps in your kitchen! Supplies are limited. For adults. 

FOR EVERYONE
Naloxone and Fentanyl Test Strip Clinic
Wednesdays, April 8, April 15, April 22, and April 29, 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm
In response to an increase in fentanyl and other opioid related overdoses, we've partnered with the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health and California Department of Health Care Services to offer free doses of Naloxone (Narcan).
​Customers will need to complete a brief training on how to administer Naloxone, which will be available on- site. 
  • No ID Required
  • No Proof of Insurance
  • No Cost
  • Limit one per customer, while supplies last
