BookstoreClaremont Library Book sale
August 1 – 31, 2024 Here’s a chance to fill your bedside tables with a full complement of summer reading selections. The Claremont Library’s bookstore is having a month-long half-price sale. Everything on burgundy shelves or carts is up for sale at half price through the month of August. You’ll find a great variety of fiction in paperback and hardback, new and old, as well as children’s books galore. In the foyer are books about sports, the arts, health and well-being, religion, how-to, and shelves of non-fiction concerning nearly every academic field. Inside, along the walls, are autographed works, a large history section, biographies and memoirs, travel, cookbooks, and so much more. Classics are a specialty: a particularly good spot for students to stock up on summer reading and anticipated titles for next year’s school courses. Besides books, there are CD’s, DVD’s and audio books, as well as special video tapes and, yes, records. Hope you come by and grab a read! And pass this on to reading friends - book club buddies are especially welcome. The bookstore is open when the library is open.
