Books & Media Half-Price Sale
April 1 - 30, 2025 The Friends of the Claremont Library Bookstore is holding a 1/2 price book and media sale for all the books on the burgundy shelves and carts, as well as the wooden $1.00 record & CD cart. Only works in the display case are exempt. Now is the time to stock up on books to read, peruse, give as gifts, offer to the children in your lives, decorate with, use for projects, teach yourself an art, a craft, a skill; anticipate a trip, a bit of self-help; read the classics you've always been wanting to dig into. And so much more! Our community donations have been spectacular, year after year. And our riches are your finds. We will put out new books several times a week during the month, so come in often to see what new jewels await! About Our Bookstore The Friends of the Claremont Library Bookstore stock changes frequently and includes many best-sellers. Unique treasures can be found in the glass cases. Many interesting, reasonably priced books are on the bookshelves near the library entrance closest to the parking lot and both walls as you enter the library. All books were donated by our generous community members. All funds raised from this sale will support the Claremont Library. We accept cash or check payments. Thank you for your support! Check out "Sustainable Claremont, the Next Chapter: Books" by our FOCL Bookstore Manager, Lanore Pearlman, to learn why buying used books and donating books for resale helps the Earth. |
