The Friends of the Claremont Library is a volunteer organization supporting our library and events. Friends of the Claremont Library provides the following services to help our library.

• Friends of the Library Book Sales
• Your contribution will directly impact the community by providing funds to support new adult, teen and children's books, magazines, DVDs and Family/Adult, Teen and Children's on-site programs.
• Maintain and develop the Claremont Author's Collection at the library.
• Provide funds to support community events at the library: annual On The Same Page community read events, the Claremont Authors event, the For the Love of Books event, and monthly poetry readings.​

Volunteer

The Friends of the Claremont Library need help with the bookstore and book sales, which are the primary fundraisers.

You determine how many hours you want to work and your schedule.  Help is needed year-round in:

• Sorting donated books
• Putting books in the bookstore
• Looking up the value of books on the computer
