A special thanks to Girl Scouts of America troop #2214 and volunteers from the Red Cross of America for their help with the Summer Reading Program. The librarians said they couldn't have done it without them.
With all the budget cuts at our library, this kind of staffing help is appreciated now more than ever. For more information about how to help at our library year-round click here
Summer Reading Program
The Claremont Library Summer Reading Program is sponsored by the Friends of the Claremont Library. The speakers, activities, and prizes are funded by the Friends and made possible by the fundraising that you all support.
Reading Is So Delicious!
That is the theme of this year's Summer Reading Program, which kicks off on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 2 p.m. at the library. There will be performances, events, and activities all summer for all ages, from babies through adults, with one goal: to encourage reading! There will also be an online component to the program, found on the library's website. Watch this space and our calendar for updates.
