Join the Friends of the Claremont Library
Your membership helps provide the library with programs, materials, and equipment beyond the means of limited tax dollars. Some examples of what your memberships support:
As a Friend, you are also entitled to shop on the "preview" days of our book sales, come to the annual meeting, and receive our newsletter. Please print out and fill in this form and send it to P.O. Box 1618, Claremont, CA 91711 with your check made payable to FOCL or Friends of the Claremont Library. Because FOCL is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, your gift is tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Here once again is the link to the form: JOIN. The Friends of the Claremont Library need help in the bookstore and with book sales, which are the primary fundraisers. Used books are donated by supporters year-round, and there is a bookstore at the library that is open whenever the library is open. In addition, there are semi-annual book sales that are held in the meeting room of the library. You determine how many hours you want to work and your schedule. Help is needed year-round in:

Volunteer in the Library
In addition to helping the Friends with book sales, there are other volunteer opportunities at the library. Volunteers help staff with:
