OTSP: Events Coming Up
In conjunction with our On The Same Page community read, Tangled Vines, the Friends of the Claremont Library present the fascinating documentary Somm on SATURDAY FEBRUARY 10 at 10 a.m. in the library. The documentary, which follows four aspiring applicants as they go through the process of becoming master sommeliers, features Fred Dame, who is introduced at the end of the book. After the screening, Sal Medina, owner of the Packing House Wine Merchants -- who is himself preparing for the Advanced Sommelier exam -- will speak about the film and answer questions. The showing is free and open to the public; refreshments will be served. See the flyer here. And stay tuned: the book's author, Frances Dinkelspiel, will be speaking in Claremont on March 3!
