We introduce a new feature on our website: descriptions of specific books available right now. Click here to learn about our first four books, and if you see one you'd like, please email claremontlibrarybookstoreATgmail.com and we'll hold it for you or answer any questions you may have. Books can be purchased by check or cash in the library. Happy reading!
Book Sales / Bookstore
Several times a year, volunteers hold large used book sales at the library, including a sale of unusual, rare, or unique books. Donations are welcome anytime during library hours (up until two weeks before each sale). See below for donation guidelines.
Additionally, in the east entrance of the library, our bookstore is open year-round, and the stock -- which includes many best-sellers -- is constantly changing. There are also beautiful and unusual books in the glass cases. Books here can be purchased at the check-out desk.
All proceeds from the sale of books support the library.
Calling All Volunteers!
Love books? Love that warm fuzzy feeling you get from helping others? Enjoy organizing and sorting? If you have a few spare hours and answered yes to any or all of those questions, our Book Sales/ Bookstore committee would love your help. Volunteers are needed to sort donated books, look up their value, stock the bookstore, and help with our big sales. We have a dedicated group of volunteers but can always use more. Interested? Call Barbara Musselman at (909) 596-1760.
